1. Purpose of processing
Killbot identifies automated traffic, malicious requests, click fraud, scraping and behavioural bots. Processing is automated and limited to protecting a customer’s website, advertising and related infrastructure.
2. Technical data we may analyse
To detect automation, the service may use an IP address and network-request parameters, JavaScript environment characteristics, selected properties of window, screen and navigator, HTML5 Canvas signals, timestamps, request sequences and pseudonymous behavioural signals.
These signals may be combined into a technical identifier for a browser or software environment. Its purpose is to distinguish automated requests from genuine visitors, not to identify a person.
3. Data Killbot does not collect for bot analysis
- information entered into forms on a protected website;
- clipboard contents;
- contents of cookies that do not belong to Killbot;
- camera images or microphone audio;
- files or documents stored on a visitor’s device;
- a protected-site visitor’s name, phone number, email address or account details.

5. Retention
Session data and technical signals are retained for no longer than 30 calendar days. They are usually deleted automatically within 14–21 days.
This period allows a protected-site owner to review past visits, verify filtering decisions and configure protection rules.
6. Organisational and technical safeguards
Killbot Group limits access to operational data on a need-to-know basis and applies safeguards appropriate to the data being processed. These include encrypted connections, access controls, event logging, component updates and infrastructure monitoring.
Each customer remains responsible for their integration, CMS, servers, forms, databases and lawful processing of visitor information on their side.
